I need to know if you can run a solid state drive as the primary drive in the hard drive slot for the playstation 3 and if it would work?
If it works is it faster than a HDD or is it limited?
I have a playstation 3 and want to upgrade to the OCZ Agility 2 SSD 240GB but need to know if the read/write speed would actually work on the console.

Since the SSD's use less power to run and are way faster than a HDD this would be nice.
