Hello,
I was using a software called vip file protect,i encrypted a folder on my external hard disc.the encryption was not complete i gues coz it does not ask 4 ne pasword.but now the encryption took up almost 120gb free space of my hard disc.i cant even decrypt it...plz help me what should i do??

What is the space used up as, is that folder 120gig or what happened? If you view the disk what do you see?

Since it's an external drive, can you copy all of the files out of it, then format the drive again? Even if there are any encrypted fies on the drive it will let you re-format it. Encryption is setup to protect file access, formating will wipe the files so encryption won't block that and you will have the disk back fresh to copy the files back over.

Make sure you read over the software instructions, sounds like you did something wrong when you tried to encrypt the folder.
