Why bios a7v do this???
I need help again.......
I use m/b a7v bios 1004d, AMD TB700(not overclock yet), kingston ram128Mz PC133, Nvidia Geforce2MX. I have installed 4in1 already. On the m/b bios, I set in Advanced Menu at the "System Performance Setting" to be "Optimal". In Advanced Menu, I went in the "Chip Configuration". In there, I set "AGP 4X Drive Strength" to be "Auto" Later I check at "WCPUID". I found it like this.
on WCPUID:
1. Chip Set Device:Via ApolloKT133
2. Chip Revision: 02
3. AGP Revision: 2.0
4. AGP Operation: Enable
5. Data ransfer Rate:
5.1 supported: 1x 2x
5.2 current: 2x
Why does "Data Transfer Rate" support only 1x 2x and in the Current just show only 2x?
I know that Nvidia Geforce2MX can support at 4x. How can i make it to work at 4x?
Also I don't know when i set m/b bios in "Chip Configuration" at the line that says "AGP Fast Write" to be "Enable". Later i booted winME, the monitor became like fuzzy could not see anything but it not just went blank or black. So i have to go back and set "AGP Fast Write" to be "disable" again in order to continue to be normal. Could you answer this question too.
