hello there,

I m about to buy some new components in order to build my self a new system.

AMD Duron 800Mhz
Abit KT7-RAID100
Kingston PC133 Sdram
IBM Desksatr 10.1GB(taking it from my old p3 sys)
3D Prophent Geforce2 MX retail

now, the question is if my old Diamond MX300(Aureal Vortex 2 Chip) will work on this board, because i've heard the horros of the via chipsets and Vortex 2 Cards.....

It will work but you have to have patience with settying bios settings and disabling certain things

what things will i have to disable?

the lpt1 port?
i had to do it on my asus p2b-f because the fu**en Sb16 emulator had a conflict with it
