In addition to hang-the-9.
It could even be a faulty drive, I bought a new one on Monday and it failed to read or play any dvd from the start, I took it back the next day and got a replacement .
You said it clear as day! Same problem here. Downloaded Win7 Pro from Microsoft Store. When backup disc arrived in mail, system running Win7 does not recognize the disc in DVD drive.
I can insert into any other computer and set-up starts straight away. Updated bios, sata every driver I could think of. no success! Microsoft support says they have not heard of this but, I see it in many forums.
And since it will launch in other computers not running Win7, software is fine they say. I don't get it? Drive reads any other disc.
