secrets are rooms (sectors) you must enter to get credit - you will get the
message: "you have found a secret area" on entry to the sector designated as
a secret; There is one (1) secret sector in congo - it's located in the area
with the elevated cross walkway - jump in the "goo" and activate the
elevator to get up to it

I don't know but the automap in some modern ports may help you (secrets
are in a specific colour, violet in prboom).

Since I use JDoom I load the patch WAD with TNT.WAD which means I don't
notice the bug.
