I just received my new Plextor 12/10/32A CD-RW drive today and it installed like a breeze on Win2k. I then installed Adaptec EZ CD Creator, and some of the included Plextor software. I updated EZ CD Creator to v4.03, and the first time I ran CD Copier, it gave me an error saying I didn't have a valid CD Writer. So I look and sure enough: "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"
Windows recognized the drives fine before, but all of a sudden theyre gone. They show up in Device Manager but with a "!" and the above error message. They do not show under My Computer at all. PLEASE HELP, I NEED MY CD-ROM DRIVE!!!!

Uninstall EZ cd. Use Nero or CDRWIN or CDCLONE, all available as shareware.
