Not enough information, ie; make and model of pc, laptop/desktop, home built?
Typically name brands provide a recovery partition, from which a set of recovery disks can and should be made to restore to factory settings.
The newer Acer for one creates a seperate set of disks that includes one for driver and installed software applications that can restore those without reinstalation of the OS.
If yours has been upgraded from a previous OS then you will need the drivers from the makers website.
