Abit KT7-Raid functionable under Solaris?

I was wondering if anybody has set this motherboard up in a solaris enviroment. I am going to dual boot my system with win98 and solaris... I am doing this in hopes of gaining a little more expirience with solaris to become certified by the end of this coming summer. While we are at it, I was wondering if anybody has gotte the Hercules GE Force 2 MX graphics card to work with Solaris as well.

Running Solaris in theory shouldn't be a problem, unless Solaris does not support at all the VIA chipset. You should check out Sun's hardware compatibility list regarding your questions or ask them. They are the most appropriate source of answers.

Hmm... might have a problem- getting anything to work with Linux is a big pain in the ass so I can't imagine Solaris. Who makes the RAID chip? I would do what the last dude said- check the makers of the board, card, and RAID card/chip and see if they have Solaris drivers.
