Will the Sims 3 work on my pc?

Hello,
before I buy the Sims 3 I wanted to know if my processor and video card could handle it. I have a GeForce 6150 LE with 256MB memory. And my processor is AMD sempron processor 3400+ 1.80GHz, 1.18GB RAM. I can play Sims 2 no worries. Thank you!!

Ican play sims 2 max' with integrated radon X1250 GPU and yet, sims 3 lags like hell. and with that old sempron I would doubt it.
