DOS is gross... I certainly don't miss it.

There are some aspects of it I liked, but for the most part, I'm quite happy having a GUI.

Yes, lets go back to those large teletype machines in the early 70's, punch cards and woot punch tape! Not!

I did like DOS better then the start of GUIs. The GUIs got better.

Linux doesn't support engineering apps I run, but is a great server.
NT has grown lots, and the latest XP is good.

Horribly inefficient though, it takes 512MB to get XP to run like 98SE does on 128MB, assuming you have enough processing power that you won't notice the increased CPU load.
