asus a7pro?

hey all i just bought a asus a7pro mobo on the cheap, have i just bought a real piece of junk?
The man that sold it to me said that it would support my duron 800, but in the manual it only lists bus freq and multiply settings for duron 700, the man lied right or is there some way of doing this, or do i have to use the settings for the 700.

I am running a Athlon Thunderbird 950 MHz on an Asus A7Pro, so you should be able to run your Duron.

When upgrading the Bios, the board insists on using the A7V, not the A7Pro upgrade though.
