Not All System Memory Recognized by XP Tags: Supermicro Windows XP Memory Last response: January 30, 2005 12:38 PM in Windows XP Share xts2 January 29, 2005 7:14:45 PM I have a strange problem, when booting my SuperMicro X5DAL-TG2, it recognizes 1024 MB of system memory, but in XP SP2, the system is recognizing only 896 MB. The board is running 2 x 512 mb DDR266 ECC and the Phoenix BIOS is 1.3a, which according to SuperMicro is the latest version. I can't find anything in the BIOS to "release" the additional 128 mb. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks More about : system memory recognized bjpatrick January 29, 2005 10:58:33 PM Man that is a really weird problem.
