Anandtech reported that the 686B Southbridge (used on most, if not all, KT133A boards) is NOT properly supported by Win2K - resulting in slow IDE performance (when using Win2K)!

Anyone out there have an update on this problem?

VIA 4-in-1 drivers version 4.26 have remark: "Add Via ATA 100 driver for Win2K (beta 5 / 3.0)". I think they are still beta and nobody uses them for benchmarking right now. Maybe they would help. The last version of 4-in-1 I know of is 4.28.
