always wanted a laptop, and now, finaly i get the chance to get one. since i'm moving away and will be mobile for a few months, i need a laptop that follows these specs:

Price Range: 1000$
built in WiFi, BlueTooth, SD Card reader,
DVD reader, CD writer, 512MB memory, relativly small,
has to have firewire and usb 2.0.

any recommandetions?

for that there is nothing but HP laptop with AMD 64. Best you can get for a 1000 bux. But, yeah, Dell, have a look.
