No sound on ra3 ps3

I've had this game on ps3 for over a year now and never had a problem until I connected my ps3 to playstation network. as soon as I played on a new map downloaded with a ra3 package from playstation store, I get no sound in game play and I cant play without sound! when this would happen, I would quit game and turn it back on and sometimes it would work but then became more frequent and got worse. then I deactivated playstation network and it started working, but after 4times of playing, it happened again and got worse and worse! i think the problem is playstation network and i need to system restore and have no playstation network for this game? would someone be able to help me please

I think there is a way to just delete files. Maybe delete the files for that game and reinstall it and not the map.
