Okay, I just got my 900 Tbird and have overclocked it using the pencil trick and multiplier adjustments. I have a weird problem though.

When I set the dip switches to 9.5x, the processor runs at 950 MHz. Okay. 10.0x and 10.5x work fine too, but when I try 11.0x, the processor runs at 900 Mhz. When I try 11.5x, the processor runs at 950 Mhz, 12.0x gives 1000 MHz, and 12.5x gives 1050 Mhz. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Tbird 900, FOP 38, Asus A7V, 128 megs Infineon PC133 CAS2, Creative Annihilator 2, Quantum 30 gig ATA 100 (they were out of IBMs), SB Live! MP3+...

Apparently some of the jumper settings in the manual are wrong, but you can check the Asus site for the correct ones. Sounds like you have done quite well if you are hitting 1050...but watch your temps in the bios!
