Win 95-98 Promise Ultra 100 IDE controller

Help! I am having problems with my new system. Asus AV7,AMD 1000 T-bird, IBM DTLA 307045 45 gig HD. When I install my SCSI card for my Yamaha CD-RW Windows dectects the new hardware and starts to install the driver for the SCSI card and I get a Fatal exception error every time. In my old PC everything worked fine. So I can only guess I am having an issue between the SCSI controller for the Promise Ultra 100 controller and the SCSI card I am trying to install. I don't much about SCSI devices, so any input would be a big help!

Could be an IRQ conflict. Try moving the card to a different slot.
