I have a TaiSol CGK742092 heatsink with the standard Chromerics T725 thermal interface material. If I wanted to change this I would have to take off the pad right? The pad seems to have thickness, would this be taken up by the Arctic silver Im thinking of replacing it with. If I am going to take off the pad, hoew difficult is is, what would I use because I don't want to scratch the base of the HSF.
