Connecting Multiple IDE Devices to A7V

This may be a stupid question but...

I'm putting together a new system, built around an A7V and a T-Bird 1000mhz. I want to connect the following IDE devices, and I'm not sure how I can configure everything to work:

Primary HD - ATA100
Secondary HD - ATA100
AOpen CD-RW
Toshiba CD
Zip drive (internal)

Currently, I have the HDs setup as a master/slave on the primary ATA100, and the CD-RW & Zip set as a master/slave on the secondary IDE (non-ATA100). When I try connecting the CD drive (the second cd) to the motherboard (through the non-ATA100 primary IDE), the machine won't boot.

My question is, what's the best configuration to use to get all of my devices to work? (I want to be able to do direct CD copying, so I presume that the 2 CDs should not be on the same IDE channel.)

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
-Conrad

Are you certain the Master/Slave settings are all correct? Did you only enable the one boot device or did you list all of them? Try selecting only one boot device from the boot menu.

I use 2 cds on the same controller all the time and there never is any problem. Just make sure that one is Primary and the other is Slave.
