I'm thinking of purchasing this board at an upcoming computer show & was wondering what the approximate cost is so I don't get swindled .

Also , what ways are there to identify the board to make sure it's authentic ?

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated............. Thanks .

One more question ....... The major difference between the K7T Pro2-A & Pro2 are ?????

I beleive the "A" has the new southbridge chipset.
Could be wrong, but if I am, I'm sure I will be corrected on the next reply by somebody.
I also beleive they are approx $125, well the K7T Pro2 was anyhow. The "A" should be about the same.

The Pro2-A contains the new VIA southbridge that supports ATA-100. $125 seems reasonable, but check http://www.pricewatch.com for more up-to-date pricing. The board should be marked as an MSI K7T-Pro2-A, so there should be no question as to which board it is.
