When I first turn the computer on it will boot up fine most of the time. If I shut it down completly and turn it on again it won't boot, I then have to hit the reset button usually only once and then it starts up fine. What could the problem be?

MSI KT7 PRO 2A
AMD 900 TBird

Check to make sure you have a big enough power supply, if you only have a 250W, it may not have enough juice to start everything up from a cold boot. After the hdd's spinning and things are running it doesn't require as many AMPS, and will make it startup ok (ie, reset button works)

Duron 650@848 (113*7.5)

I have a 300W AMD approved power supply, exact name I don't know.

I don't believe it could be the power supply, it starts up on cold boot usually no problem. The problem starts after the computer has been running, I shut it down turn it on again a couple of minutes later...nothing,something is running but my monitor doesn't kick on. Hit reset then it boots fine.
