Hi everyone,
I'm just Curious as to know how you folks have tweaked your Windows XP sp1 ... I had tried the SP2 for a while but have regretted it so much , and went back to Windows XP sp1...

Could you sum up you 10 most favorite and most importent TWEAKS for windows xp , to drastically improve speed and Startup and Shutdown procedures... And also to get rid of unneccesary things (crap that MS thought we would need but... )

Let's make this the longest POST ever about this subject

install Mandrake 10.1 is best tweak...

Yeah, you could use Linux with Cedega for the games, but if you dont care about games, try a mac.

There XPlite too, where you can choose to not install certain components like crappy ie and WM center.

You'll find a ton of tweaks at this site:

There's no way I could try to list just ten tweaks, since I normally do over 50 different things to the OS after a fresh install. Or more.

You could always list the ones you personally found the most useful when you are finished. That might narrow it down a bit.
