All very good, but I find the RIAA one the best. It is very ironic that they mentioned Lars Ulrich as the person complaining about royalties. The fact is Metallica, Lars' band, has never been played much on the radio. The real reason is royalties were down was probably because of a drop in CD sales due to P2P networks.
In a world without <font color=red>walls </font color=red>or <font color=green>fences </font color=green>, what use have we for <font color=red>Windows </font color=red>or <font color=green>Gates.</font color=green>
It is true.
I am starting to beleive that people are indeed tired of the love stuff. Think about it man, 70% of songs these days have nothing but "I love you", "I wanna love you", "Let's be together", "I JUST wanna love you". For christ's sake you stripped the whole goal about love, now expressing your emotions with that word is useless. It may be why Avril Lavigne, Pink and some others are shining. When not using such words only, but expressing yourself, you reach to the fans. I highly beleive this is why such stars are getting the most sales.
I'd be more inclined to buy a CD by Avril than one by a pop group, which btw POP has become BS.
So sad, look back in 1997, pop was at its best, I was a big Spice Girls fan, BSBoys were the high hit too, but at least they had something to offer, now POP is so repetitive, unoriginal!

I agree, pop has gone downhill, no off a cliff, not that I was ever a big fan but now I am a pop enemy.

Not to mention the mass manufactured pop crap they are pumping out today.
How many boy bands have we seen in the past 5 years? How many over electronic, under sung britney spears songs have we had to endure?
