Abit Bf6 FSB

I have the Abit BF6 board, i have done the bios updates, so the board can take Pentium III with a FSB of 133mhz. The Manual says only 100Mhz Fsb chips can be used. Can anyone out there clarify this for me? Thanks

I have a BF6 also. Since it uses a BX chipset it does not support the 133 bus officially. I have never got mine to run at 133 with any real success. I have run a 550x124 with no problems. I have a 1ghz in it at the moment running at 1000x115. If your gonna try to run at 133 make sure you have 133 ram. Mine wouldn't run with 133 ram anyway but you may have more luck than I. I have Cas2 100 ram in it at the moment which has had no problem with 124mhz at 2-2-2 timing.
Good luck, and if you can get it to go 124 @2-2-2 you will actually be doing bettor than 133@ 3-3-3.
