I am building a "cheap as possible" comp for a friend and I have seen specs on the Shuttle MK20N and the Gigabyte GA-7VKML but I haven't been able to find any reviews. Both have video, audio, and LAN onboard, which fills the requirments to "be able to surf the net, play MP3s, and run Word".

Has anyone had any experience with these boards or other all-in-ones?

p.s. Yes, I posted in the mobo forum, but I like you guys better.

Flame not, lest ye be phlegmed.

if you're going cheap integrated, why not get an Nforce, Radeon IGP, or i845g board?

Soon enough, Intel will make the i845s...imagine dual channel Sdram...*shudder*

Stay away from integrated. Modular is cheap enough now, you can avoid it. Think, when the warranty is over and the mobo goes you lose everything. I have always been against integrated

She doesn't want cheap TCO. She wants cheap to buy.
The Shuttle is C$97 (US$61) the Gigabyte is C$102 (US$64)
I'm just concerned about bugginess and workmanship.
