The latest patch for Crysis Warhead gives you an option to run the game in 64-bit mode. What does this mean and how do you benefit from it?

I've got a Core i7, 6GB RAM, and Two HD 5870's in CF, I can run Warhead on all "enthusiast" settings at 1920x1080 at between 35-60 fps. I haven't tried the 64-bit to see if it improves performance in any way.

Try it and see if it improves performance in any way.

Well, you have a 64bit OS and a 64bit capable processor, so in theory the game should run more efficiently in 64bit mode. Not sure what the real-world difference will be in fps, if any. Go ahead and try it.

It will make use of more ram on 64 bit, with 6 gb ram, as 32 bit only allows use of 2 gb per program, and 3.25 as of total.
