I like to know the positive points and advantages of windows 7 for amd gamers.

I am using the abowe main parts in my PC:
Amd Phenom ll x4 955,
Sapphire Ati HD4850 512MB 256bit dual slot fansink,
KHX8500D2K2/2G (2*1GB), 1066MHz double sided conponents,
On the MoBo: Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe WİFİ-AP,
All system powered by W0132RE 1000W Themaltake PSU.

Well the only one I can think of is that you will make good use of your CPU, cause of the 64bit support, but that aint a new feature in W7.

PS: I also own the Phenom II x4 955 and the HD4850(Tho, I run two of those in Crossfire) and they work great on Windows 7.

Over what? No OS? Linux? XP? Vista?


Your system having only 2GB of memory is a bottleneck. Any newer game (last 3-4 years) and Vista will benefit hugely with 4GB of memory or more.
A system of your caliber should have at least 4GB of memory if you have a 64bit OR at least 3GB if your still using a 32bit OS.
