Can't see mouse cursor when playing pc games

Hello,I'm a console gamer , my friend bought a 1000 dollar dell pc. Basically it can run games and i bought command and conquer 4 , sims 3 , starcraft 2 and i couldn't play any of them . The pc handles them well but the mouse cursor turns invisible making it imposible to play . It does this on every game even old sims 2 so thats 4 games iv'e tried with *** results
