Firefox malfunctions

Hi

Does anyone know why my MX 1000 LASER mouse (from Logitech) 's Front and Back buttons don't respond within FIREFOX 1.0???

It works just fine in Internet Explorer

You will probably have to map those buttons to whatever keystroke's are used for forward and backward in firefox.
