Hello! I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64, along with NVIDIA's latest driver for my GTX 460 (x2 in SLI). Aero has worked just fine since I built the machine. I haven't made any hardware changes, and the only software I've installed just before it stopped working is LogMeIn, which I know uses a "mirror" driver. However, I uninstalled LogMeIn and still Aero refuses to work. When I choose the Window Color option under Themes, it takes me to the classic Appearance dialog instead of the new one where you can specify transparency, etc.

Any thoughts? Windows diagnostics says I should update my video driver to one that supports WDDM; however, I know my driver is correct and also current.

Frustrating!

I didn't have to boot into safe mode or use Driver Sweeper, but uninstalling and then reinstalling the NVIDIA driver did the trick. Strange.

Thanks for your answers!
