What is the best Oblivion Mod site and Mods?

Hi

Im going to start playing oblivion again due to the Skyrim coming out later in the year. I have tried to find a site to get oblivion mods from but have had a hard time trying to register on nexus and other sites and it seems all to hard. So what are you Oblivion players using to get your mods, and what are some good mods to get? I would be interested in texture mods/visual quality improvement mods and extra missions/areas to explore and anything else you believe makes the game better.
