I have the D-Link DMp-100 32MB MP3 player. For some strange reason the first time I hooked up the player to my
Abit KA-100/Athlon 800 Classic System the player could communicate with the computer. Now the computer can't even communicate with the player. Yes, I already set to the appropriate parallel port setting in my BIOS. D-Link tech support couldn't help because all I get is a voice mail and no return calls.
However, the same player communicate fine attached to a Abit/PII system so I know it's not the player so maybe it's the motherboard or the CPU of my Athlon. Any suggestions?
