How to fix the colouring on my windows 7

Hello,
sorry i wasnt very clear in what i wrote the first time ,i meant to say i just bought a new computer the old one was vista and the screen colouring was great then i changed it to windows 7 and the colouring is way off some thing that was red is now dark blue plse can any one tell me how to fix this ty

Check monitor cable.....
Swap means upgrade or clean install?
What about VGA drives, you tried to reinstall them? Screen resolution and refresh rate are correct?

Depending on what kind of monitor or screen you are using, you may have to calibrate your display to get the proper color settings. Calibrating is highly recommended even if you think everything looks wonderful.

You can calibrate your display in Windows 7 using the Display Color Calibration wizard. You can get to this by going to Control Panel, clicking on Appearance and Personalization and then clicking on the Display header. Then click Calibrate color in the left menu.
