IPv6 implications on gaming

Hey,

I have a question about connecting to game servers that will use IPv6.

If I were to connect to a CS:S server manually today, I would type "connect <IP HERE>".

Would I do the same in the future with IPv6, and just put a v6 address instead of a v4 address, or must game developers update their games?

Remembering your V6 address would be a bit of a challenge...

I don't think it would cause major hoohahs, tbh. IPV4 addresses can be written in V6 notation, so you could happily continue using your old address even if they update their configuration to V6.
