How to instal a PC game if u lost the guide

Hello,
I have a sims 3 game for my pc but all i have is the disc. when iput it in my computer it asks for some kind of code...what can i do?

I would imagine that you would need the case, which should have the key required to install the game. Perhaps if you registered the game with EA you might be able to call them for assistance?

The disk is no use without the code; otherwise people would just download the program from the Internet. Your only option is to talk to EA; this site can't help you as to do so might be promoting piracy.

In the future, STEAM FTW! I know this doesn't help you now, but its so nice now not having to worry about disks and CD keys anymore.

Yes. Instead you get to worry about what you're going to do while your game is downloading.

It's quicker than going to the shops or waiting for it to come in the post.

If you've registered it, it should be linked to your EA account and you can download and install it using the EA download manager using your username/email & your password.
