For two days every time I double click on My Computer icon the FIND screen appears. I can still access My Computer by right clicking and selecting open. In this box though, there is a find option that is in bold print. not a major problem but somewhat annoying. Anyone know solution? Do not even know how it got switched to this.

Strange indeed. Maybe you have some weird registry corruption or virus or worm or anything. Try some software to run a check on your system.
