The following is from the VIA Chipset FAQ Web Page . Is there any noticeable difference between these 2 options ?
Q: When installing the AGP driver, what is the difference between "normal" mode and "turbo" mode .
A: Installing in "turbo" mode will give your graphics card enhanced speed and performance while "normal" mode offers increased system stability

Turbo mode will give you a choice between 2X AGP and 4X AGP. Once the AGP driver is installed 4X needs to be enabled in your BIOS, otherwise AGP runs at 2X.

Normal mode will only allow 1X AGP, regardless of BIOS settings.

Without the AGP driver installed your video card runs as if it were PCI.
