Can only reach 91 FPS in Black ops. Does anyone know if this game has a FPS limit.

CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X6 1100T
GPU: Sapphire ATI RADEON HD6950
PSU: Raidmax 730W
RAM: 8GB Patriot 1600
RAM: 8GB Talent 1333
MOBO:Asus M4A88T-V
Case: Blac X
Optical: LG DVD 24X
HDD: 7200 Sata II 1T

What should this kind of system be getting?

Good point... However, people say they reach higher. Was just wondering if there was a limiter

You have a balanced and solid system. Other people probably get higher fps due to using some of the more powerful Intel processors.

Or lowering their visuals to get better performance.

I usually run with vsync on so I usually stay at 60fps.

I know what you mean. I sometimes get caught up in the "higher FPS is better race."

I recently upgraded to a second 5870 and then loaded up Crysis. I was getting 70-80 FPS with everything maxed 8xAA, 16xAF and a maxed out visuals mod. But the game was very choppy even though Fraps said the fps was over 60. I flipped on vsync and Fraps maxed out at 50fps, but the game was so silky smooth. For whatever reason Fraps is reporting 50, but the game plays like it is pinned at 60 and totally smooth, so I am very happy and stopped worrying about fps rate because any thing after 60 is useless as far as visuals go.
