How to play mercenaries 2

Irecently bought mercenaries 2 world in flames. for my playstation3. it loads to the point where it says connecting to ea servers then wont go any further.is it my ps3?. because the game plays on other ps3's.

Are you on a master account or a subaccount? A master account has the ability to set the ESRB rating for subaccounts. If a subaccount is set to an ESRB rating of "T" you won't be able to play any "M" games.

It doesn't matter. if he is a subaccount and the master account set him at a rating of E (Everyone), then he won't be able to play any games rated above E. The master account has control over all subaccounts. He would need the master account holder to set the subaccount settings to "T" or higher for him to be able to play.

It's an issue between the game update and their servers. There's an update that pushed out for this game when I loaded it up on my 360 and it caused the console to crash when loading a save game. It turned out that it was trying to connect to the EA servers and would fail causing the crash. I think I ended up starting a new game, then it connected and then I exited and loaded my save game and it's been fine since.
