I just built my gaming rig and can't get GTA IV to work correctly. It launches fine, but when i go to the graphics settings it displays
an error message that my GPU can't handle the game and i need to lower the settings, which are locked from any adjustment! Really?!!! My DUAL XFX6970 2GB's cant handle this 2yr old game?
I have the 11.2 driver installed, which is the latest. I've tried reinstalling kthe game and it direct x components, no good.
My old pc with a dual core pentium and 1 4870 1 GB would play the game at medium settings.(had probs luanching the game like every one else, but when it launched it worked fine)
Any suggestions?

1100t
ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme
8GB 2000mhz Gskill turbulence
2x XFX6970 2GB in X-fire

OH BTW, other games are not problems so far, seems to be isolated to this game.

it might have to do with the latest drivers

i have experienced micro shuddering on a more extreme level in just cause 2 since i installed 11.2 drivers

i hope these drivers are not broken

works if you disable crossfire/trifire

just do that

remember space to apply and resolution is at the top of the options --> graphics page
