Sorry if I seem to "not know" but "where" do you plug case fans into the PSU (Enermax Eg351VP)& how many can you use ?

I've heard not to plug them into the Motherboard ..... Even so , there are only 3 connectors ...

Someone please help me get this straight .....

If your fans have four-pin connectors, you can plug them into any of the power connectors coming from the power supply (like the power connector which plugs into your hard drive) They typically are pass-thru so you will have as many free connectors after installing a fan as before.

If your fans have three-pin connectors, these are designed to plug into the motherboard. If you don't want to plug them into the motherboard, you could get 3 to 4 pin adaptors for them.

P.S. See http://www.coolerguys.com/ for a good selection of fans and a three-into-four adaptor.

(they did pad my shipping by $10 and didn't respond to my inquiry, but they do have a good selection of fans)

As you are using a preferred Enermax power supply, you don't have to worry about the negative issues of draw associated with plugging your 3-pin fans into the motherboard. Go ahead, plug them in, everything will run great.

You should also note that you will have full hardware monitoring capabilities when you plug them into your motherboard.
