Any Crysis 2 PC benchmarks yet?

Are there any Crysis 2 PC benchmarks yet? The game comes out in less than One month, benchmarks are sometimes released shortly before a game's release. I'd like to see how it performs compared to the first Crysis. If it's being released for the consoles, then PC hardware shouldn't sweat it.

Leaked benchmarks, perhaps?

Uhh there are no benchmarks for Crysis 2. Yet? but it shouldn't be to hard to run but it will be more demanding than the first game on max settings well from the system requirements i saw on steam. as far as leaked Benchmarks we are not aloud to discuss that on this site sorry. look around google?

Those are all single GPU benchmarks. I have Two HD 5870's in CF and A Core i7. My rig shouldn't have any problems running it at 1920x1080 (max monitor resolution) on all "hardcore" settings.

It performs considerably better than the first Crysis.

I can run the first Crysis at very high on 1920x1080 and get 30-50 fps. I could get more if I overclocked my machine.

Crysis 2 shouldn't be a problem.

uhh Dadiggle we don't accept pirating here, im not admin or whatever but im going to follow the rules. don't pirate the game for a couple reasons.

First: Support the developers if you don't they may just stop making games for PC and then we won't have the fun of making PC's as much and customization on PC (mods, etc)

Second: the Beta/leaked version has a massive amount of bugs and sound problems and you may not enjoy it as much.

Crysis 2 appears to run 10-15 fps faster than the first Crysis on identical settings. I'm guessing this is because of better coding and optimization. Much like how Far Cry 2 and the "Dunia" engine performed so smoothly compared to the CryEngine 2. Those Crysis 2 benchmarks were done with a single GTX 580. I wonder how it will perform on high-end SLI/CF systems.

IMHO, FC2 looks better than Crysis.

LIES!..... i could play Crysis 1 medium settings 1024x768 with my shitty graphics card the crysis 2 demo/beta (that just came out today it's legal) i have to play 800x600 and lowest settings.... i know its a beta but still you think there'd be more optimization

how can it be pirating if the game is not at retail? And that's a beta version not the final version. That's the same one as the links you guys posted here. how do you think they got it? From EA? NO!

I can wait a few weeks for Crysis 2 to hit retail shelves, no need to pirate it.

Judging from the benchmarks, it appears that Crysis 2 runs 10-15 fps higher than the first Crysis on identical settings and resolutions. If I can run Crysis with my Two HD 5870's in CF on very high/1920x1080 and get 30-50 fps, it shouldn't be difficult to run Crysis 2 on it's highest settings with a playable framerate.

Is Crysis 2 compatible with DX11 and tesselation? Tesselation combined with high resolutions murders your frame rate, just as Metro 2033 has taught us.

How many CPU cores/threads does Crysis 2 use? Is it optimized to take full advantage of a quad-core processor like battlefield bad company 2? Perhaps 8 threads for the Core i7's hyper-threading and future 8-core processors?

Actually i do have my facts right it got leaked somehow i have no clue but its a beta from an early build in january the demo is from a recent build they made for PC and muiltplayer they didn't want to show the campaign yet.... so get your facts right sonny.

what you just said is it's not pirating unless the game is out. that's totally wrong it's still illegal to download a game before street date. for example downloading dead space 2 before release date is legal? I'm pretty sure your wrong? not trying to be rude as well.

Will DX10 or DX11 increase or decrease the performance in Crysis 2?

Will Crysis 2 include tesselation?

In some games, DX10 and 11 slightly improves performance, like STALKER Call of Pripyat runs better on DX11.

I downloaded the crysis 2 multiplayer demo from steam and i always get above 42-43 FPS in Hardcore settings at 1680 * 1050 , max FPS was around 55 FPS
gameplay is silky smooth with no lag :)
My system specs
CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @3.2Ghz
GPU : HD 5850 (stock)
Ram : 4GB DDR 3
OS : Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

I believe the latest service pack for Windows Vista allows DX11 to work, but I may be wrong.
