Is Canon powershot g2 compatible with Windows 7

Hello, I downloaded the software for the Canon powershot g2 and Windows 7 keeps telling me to switch user because the software is being used by someone else??

When you try to install is it popping up a login box? If so, try inputting the administrator credentials in the box. Also try right-clicking the installer and running as administrator.

You may require elevated permissions to install the software.
