HP Digital Sender 9100C "Log"

The HP Digital Sender 9100C has a Windows application that retrieves a "log"
of usage on the device. To my amazement, they record the sender of each
document, but they don't record the receiver. Since the sender is easily
forged, and the receiver is by far the only interesting piece of
information, I am fairly shocked that they would have designed a log in this
way.

Is there any way to upgrade the Digital Sender so that the logfiles will
contain the destination to which each document is being e-mailed?
