Just wondering how i can expect my 6870 to fair against bf3 maxed out on a 1050p 16:9 monitor. If it's not going to beable to run it smoothly would buying another and cfing them get them closer to my goal or would i need to buy a new card all together? I know that every other component of my PC is fine, and i also know that not much is known about this game yet. Just looking for an estimated performance based on DICE's other games at release. Thanks.

most reviews I have read show crossfired 6850's can play Metro 2033 at high settings well. So if those cards can do that then 6870's should be a bit better and Im guessing they would run that game just fine. I had a 6870 I dont think you could MAX EVERYTHING out but Im sure with some adjusting you could get playable frame rates and good looking graphics. So I would say wait and see what your 1 card can do it should run the game ok if you dont like how it plays with everthing turned up you can always buy another card to xfire and then you will be fine for sure.

I'm running crossfired 2gb 6870s on the beta with a 1090t oc'd to 3.6 ghz and running everything completely maxed at 1080p with an average fps of 70 outdoors and 110 indoors.
