New Graphics Card for Rift

I am considering upgrading my graphics card for Rift. What I'm wondering is which card will give the best boost.

I currently have a Radeon HD 4850, Phenom II x4 840 3.2Ghz, 4GB DDR2 1066 RAM, Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H 785G motherboard, and a Corsair 650w PSU.

I considered getting another 4850 and running crossfire, but I would prefer to go with an beefier single card upgrade.

I saved some money getting my CPU so my budget is $300 but I don't want to throw away money for a minor performance bump when comparing a $200 card to a $300 card.

I'm thinking a Radeon HD 6850, 6870, or 6950 but am not sure which would give me the best performance. I have read the 6950 can be unlocked to a 6970 as well and really like that idea. I don't know much about the nVidia options but am not committed to ATI by any means.

Anyone know which of these would give the best performance? I'm looking to pull at least 30ish FPS at or close to Ultra settings. Thanks!

what resolution is your monitor? your best bets in your range are the AMD 6870, nvidia GTX 560, and AMD 6950 1GB. the former being the least powerful and the latter, the most
