Microsoft office 2000 windows 7 compatibility

Hello,
Is Microsoft Office 2000 standard compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium specifically? I'm not talking about Windows 7 Professional. Will MS Office 2000 Service Pack 3 work as well?

Office 2000 is supported in Windows Vista, thus it should be supported in Windows 7 as well. That means you can install office 2000 in Windows 7 and install updates from Microsoft Update. However, because Office 2000 support ended in July 14, 2009 , there have been no fixes for issues that occur when this product is run on Windows 7.
