#45 cartridge in 940 deskjet?

Anyone had any success with this? I found a web page that showed
covering one contact on the artridge was supposed to make this work.
No luck here. Any other ideas?

The DeskJet 940 uses the #15 black cartridge, it is not compatible with the
#45.
