Hello I am an owner of ABIT BE6 II and have a problem with two sims of sdram.
I have two SAMSUNG sdram's of 256 mb (512 mb) because my ABIT BE6 II only detect two sims of 128 mb.
I test this memory modules with QDI motherboard and this detect 512 mb.
I have the latest bios.
My computer:
PIII 800 (8x100) overcl. 1000 (8x125)
Hercules Gforce 2 64mb DDR
SB LIVE! 5.1

What is the problem with the ABIT BE6 II motherboard ?
What is the solution?
Thanks in advance.

Please Help me.

PD: Sorry my english is very bad.

Never heard of BE6-2 having sim slots. Is that some kinda new board?
Anyway, read the manual for the board about what memory modules it can hold, which slots, blah, blah... heh

Ok, you dont have to search, this is from their website:

Memory
1. Three 168-pin DIMM sockets support SDRAM module
2. Supports up to 768MB MAX. (8, 16, 32, 64, 128,256MB SDRAM)
3. Supports ECC

Have you tried any different brand of memo on that mobo?

Post, we'll do the search...
Edited by blah on 03/05/01 08:51 PM.
